If You are near Dharamsala bus stand then this place is a must visit. I was awestruck by the beauty of the place offers to its customers and travellers.. I would recommend Each and every viewer of this review to visit this place and enjoy the food and the views of dharmshala city.. The staff is quiet friendly n polite.. I was amazed by the interiors as every item used is sort of waste material for us but for the owner it was something like decorative material as he used it to showcase the beauty of the place.. The seating is quiet impressive as it is of drums which is used to keep atta n dal in storage.. You should visit the place to checkout what the place has to offer .. A must visit in dharamshala ... Happy traveling. cheers ...

Our stay was from 16 th June to 18 th June…. And their supportive staff and the owner made it really comfy. All of them are so well behaved. I thank them for all the arrangements they made for us.

It is about 10 to 15 minutes walking distance from the main Dharamshala market/city and about 5 to 7 minutes away from the bus and taxi stand.
The property is about 25 minutes away from Gaggal airport and their cafe is really aesthetic.
The rooms and the food is decent and can be even better once the footfall gets back to normal. The stay here is mostly in budget for a 2 to 3 visit ( we got it for 1600 - 1800 for 3 consecutive different bookings for each dat of our stay.) You can even grab offers on online bookings.

This is one of the best place to stay in dharamshala with awesome sunset view, nicely built rooms and the best part is roof top cafe which is worth visiting. The room in which we stayed
was pretty nice with all the basic facilities. The cafe has a great ambience with amazing interiors, food, music and bonfire perfect to relax and enjoy food and sunset
which gives a very postive vibe. The manager and staff were good and owner Ms Madhuri Sharma herself used to attend us and take care to make our stay perfect in all means and look after so we had no issues. Thank you Ms.Madhuri for arranging our stay at the very last moment and making our trip a memorable one!!

Amazing food, ambience, vibes and service. Deepanshu bhaiya is very helpful and kind. He was there to assist us during the time of our stay. You will also be interacting with the owner, Chirag. He is very chill and treated us as his friends only.
About the location - All buses start from 100m away. It is 10 minutes walk away from Bharat Petroleum, Dharamshala.
About the room - Nice interior. Had more than 3 plug points that helped us charge our phones.
About the capacity - It had 4 floors and each room had 4-5 rooms (big + small). The top floor was cafe that had the most amazing view one can imagine.
About the stay - We were 8 people and got 2 rooms. One room occupied 6 people and the other occupied 2 people.

I recently stayed at the Himalayan Musaafir Hotel and had an amazing experience. The hotel was beautiful and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. In particular, I would like to mention Deepanshu Dadwal, who went above and beyond to make my stay truly unforgettable.
From the moment I arrived, Deepanshu was extremely attentive and made sure I had everything I needed. He was always available to answer any questions I had and provided excellent recommendations for local attractions and restaurants.
The room itself was clean and provided all basic amenities. The hotel's restaurant was also top-notch, with all food prepared fresh.
Overall, I would highly recommend the Himalayan Musaafir Hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. And if you have the pleasure of meeting Deepanshu, you'll see firsthand how his exceptional service truly sets this hotel apart.

I had one of the best stays in my life, when I stayed for two nights in this hotel. Everything here was outstanding. Right from the hospitality to the ambience to the rooms, I loved every bit of it. It's not just a hotel, but an emotion of love, because I saw that the staff and the owner take care of three beautiful dogs, who roam throughout the building and provide a sense of companionship to the visitors. The boy at the reception was incredibly helpful. He suggested we hire a scooty and explore the nearby places and we took his advice, which proved to be really adventurous. It's situated at a walking distance from the Dharamshala Bus Terminus. I also loved their rooftop cafe, providing a scintillating environment & view at evening/night. They also have books and sofas for spending some quality time. The rooms are well-maintained too. Highly recommended!😊

From the beginning the service was wonderful, we arrived in early morning and by a extra tax we check in to rest after a long trip from Rishikesh.
The room was very confortable and super clean. Was provided a Kettler and cups together with water. Shower was good and everything was nice. They have a private and confortable restaurant at rooftop with a nice quiet ambient where you can enjoy an amazing view in sunset.
Food and service was special and you can find different kind of food especially for me that I had issues with spicy and chilly. Everything was wonderful!

If any of you are looking for a peaceful place with great view , good food , perfect ambience nearby in Dharamshala, cafe Himalayan musaafir is absolutely the perfect place to visit. The cafe is made out of recycled things . The staff is really helpful . The decor is amazing . And the most important thing the place is situated in the lap of nature and also you guys can see the sunset scenes from the cafe along with a cup of tea or any of your favourite thing and enjoy the sunset. I really appreciate the whole idea . Amazing place.😍😘😍😘😍

Our stay at The Himalayan Musaafir was incredibly comfortable, relaxing and homely.
Deepanshu was there at all times to take care of any urgent needs/ requirement. He fixed any situation with a smile without any delay.
The owner always ran an extra mile to provide a comfortable stay at the hotel. There’s a cafe built on the 4th floor which has so much stuff built out of waste, and yet the cafe looks pretty AF! We were treated with a delicious home cooked meal for dinner by the owner.
All in all, the hotel is a home in the mountains ❤️

Visited Dharamshala for the first time and what a stay!!! It's a simple guest house with decent rooms but it's very clean and cosy. I wanted to stay here because of the cafe !!! We are just in love with the cafe and the food. We had spent our time sitting there it's different, very creatively made and the food... Nothing flashy and typical! The food is very homely. Dipanshu & Sunny were so good! And the boy who cooks ... Must try his food! Very well made Chirag ☺️ should stay here if you like homely decent places with a great sunset view..

I was traveling around Himachal when i reached this place accidentally, we were welcomed by a smiling staff member Dipanshu who is always on his toes to help you and would go an extra mile to make you comfortable and feel at home.
The owner(Chirag) and his family are very warm people, and i just fell in love with the place.
The cafe was a cherry on the cake. Amazing chef amazing service and super awesome food.
We stayed for 3 nights and had majorly all our meals there.

We went to a trip at Dharamshala this month. We found this hotel. It was very comfortable, the location was beautiful and it was neat and tidy. We also has our dog with us and he was also very comfortable. The roof cafe was the centre of attraction. The preparation of food was excellent. THE room service was also very quick .Deepanshu who was taking care of all the things was just wonderful and freindly and helpful in all aspects. At the end I want to say that we had a very comfortable stay at Himalayan Musafir .

Stopped by before heading out on a multi-day hike. Rooms are comfortable, with a good bed and a spacious bathroom & shower. The restaurant is very nice offering a great view into the valley as well as very good (and quite cheap) breakfast. Really a nice place to hang out for a bit.
The owner of the place was also very kind and as an environmentalist offered very helpful advice on hikes and answered questions on the nature in the area. Highly recommended!

"I recently stayed at the Himalayan Retreat Hotel in Dharamshala and I must say, Google Maps led me to this hidden gem effortlessly! The directions were spot on, and I reached the hotel without any hassle.
The hotel itself is nestled in a serene location, surrounded by lush greenery and offering breathtaking views of the Himalayas. The staff is warm and welcoming, and the rooms are cozy and comfortable.
Owner is very helpful and do join the camping site of the same institute.

great place next to the bus stop. the owner chiggy dropped us to the bus stop. the hotel rooms are clean, spacious and perfect for couples. chiggi gave us farewell treat coz we stayed for month in kareri near to his place.

One of the best places in Dharamshala to stay. Very near to the Dharamshala Ropeway and Bus Stand. All the private buses are also parked near to the hotel, in case you are booking your travel with them. The restaurant had a cozy vibe and food felt home cooked. The rooms are clean and with comfortable beddings. Deepanshu and other hotel staff was very welcoming, where there to help whenever needed.

The cafe is great and a really unique idea. Haven't seen anything like it in Dharamshala. The food is amazing and budget friendly. Try the Momos here. The owner and the staff are really polite and helpful. It has a very good spot where you can just sit and enjoy the sunset with a coffee. Pretty good vibes and music to go with that. This place has an amazing vibe to it. The cafe hosts some awesome creative look and quite a menu to offer. Also the view outside on a nice evening is splendid. Absolutely phenomenal stay. Had the nicest staff one could ask for. The stay was delightful and the food was so good that we ate very less of the local dishes in order to keep enough space in the tummy to have our major meals from the hotel itself!

We had very comfortable stay here.. hospitality was amazing ..and credit goes to Deepanshu....he was a taking care every single requirement of guests... Rooms and bathroom were super clean...they customised food specialy as per our need as we wanted to had non spicy food...we booked rooms with balcony....and view from our balconies was heavenly...In total we had wonderful experience..

Lovely place by the bus stand. A small walk from dharamshala chowk. The sunset view from here is to die for. I loved the rooftop cafe here as well as the food they serve. The cafe is extremely well kept, the staff is friendly and the owners take special care of the place which is pretty evident in the vibe. If you are there at sunset, enjoy the view , necessitate with a cup of coffee.
